Mount Prospect offers excellent public schools across multiple districts. The majority of the village is served by School District 57 for K–8, which includes Fairview, Lions, Westbrook, Frost, Sunrise, and Lincoln elementary schools, along with Lincoln Middle School. A smaller area falls within Elementary District 59.
For high school, most students attend Prospect High School, part of Township High School District 214. Prospect HS is consistently rated among the top schools in Illinois, offering 30+ AP courses, a well-funded arts program, and competitive athletics.
